The Dr. Marlin D. Nelson Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in 2010 by the family of Dr. Marlin Nelson, who is lovingly remembered as a caring husband, father and grandfather and as a dedicated educator, a proud supporter of the Ralston community, and a good friend and neighbor. The Foundation is funded by the generous donations of the family and friends of Dr. Nelson and the Ralston and surrounding communities. The purpose of the Foundation is to support the continuing education of graduating Ralston High School seniors by annually awarding a scholarship for payment of post-secondary education expenses. The amount of the scholarship to be awarded with respect to Ralston High School’s Class of 2017 will be $3,000.00.

 

 

 

We would like to give a special thanks to the Steen family for their generous donation in memory of their mother Beth Steen.  With their donation we will be able to continue to honor both Marlin and Beth who supported the Ralston schools and community.
